SISD Board of Trustees welcomed Jay Lewis to their team on Thursday, May 11, 2023. Mr. Lewis was sworn in during the regularly scheduled board meeting along with Michael Rodriquez and Dough Neff, both of who ran unopposed.
We also want to thank Carrie Richardson for her service and commitment to the SISD Board Member since 2016. Prior to serving on the board, Mrs. Richardson was an educator with the district for 29 years.
The SISD Board of Trustees are unpaid volunteers and are the link between the school system and the community. As advocates for public education and the community, members are always ready to support and build relationships.
Board meetings are open to the public and are held on the 2nd Thursday of each month.
