In its first year back after COVID and 8th year overall, the Snyder ISD Bottle Challenge was a tremendous success! The award ceremony was held at Tiger Stadium on Earth Day. Congratulations to our grade-level award winners.
🥇 1st Place with ≈17,440 bottles collected EIGHTH Grade Snyder Junior High School (prize $500)
🥈 2nd Place with ≈10,340 bottles collected SECOND Grade @ Snyder Primary School (prize $300)
🥉 3rd Place with ≈ 9,840 bottles collected FIRST Grade @ Snyder Primary School (prize $200)
In addition to grade-level winners, all students who brought bottles were entered to win various raffle prizes! This was truly a win-win situation for everyone!
We also want to congratulate Cindy Brewster! The Tigers saved approximately 92,180 #1 & 2 plastics from the landfill during this year’s competition! Her guess of 105,000 has earned her a $50 gift card to Evergreen!
We also want to thank our special guests who traveled from near and far to celebrate our success!
